WOMEN CELL
The women’s cell of the college has been reconstituted in the Teachers’ Council meeting. Various types of grievances and suggestions as made by female students and staff of the college are faced by the cell. In the present context of gender equality throughout the World our women’s cell keeps constant watchful eye on any kind of injustice, if occurred in the college on any girl student or staff. Moreover, our women’s cell makes their extension activities off and on in different programmes of NSS of the college also by making awareness programmes for taking proper sanitary measures by the female residents of the local adopted villages concerning their health and hygiene. Sometimes,our members make campaign with them to stop the drug addiction, especially the alcohol which creates serious problem to local female residents and their children also.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION COMMITEE
With a view to give sufficient protection to the female staff and students of the college this cell has been formed following the proper government guidelines. Any kind of misbehave, eve-teasing, injustice to any female staff or student is strictly handled by the cell with the help of the college authority. Thus, a safe and gender – balanced environment has been created in the college. Even the local female police station is made contact by our members of the both Vishaka cell and women’s cell to get any kind of positive suggestion for the interest of our female members of the college.
